Hybrid Publishing

What is it? There are five definitions of the word hybrid. Essentially, it means mixing two separate things. Obviously, the goal of any hybrid is to take the good qualities of two or more separate entities and combine them into one. Hybrid Publishing is not different. It is a predictable evolution that combines the strengths of Indie and Traditional publishing.

My first novel (Project 7 Alpha) was traditionally published, my second (Vengeance) is an “Indie”. As an author I preferred the control of Indie-publishing; however I must admit it has limitations. I have found myself spending twice as much time on the administrative and business side of my books than I have writing.

To get my focus back on writing I have teamed with a hybrid Publisher; Treehouse Publishing Group. I first discussed traditional publishing with them at their Blank Slate Press. I decided that the Hybrid route was best for my books.

End Game will go to Treehouse on Thursday; we have already begun the process for a cover. It will be published with in weeks. We will also re-brand and re-release Vengeance. With the much needed help I hope to finish book four (CODE NAME: Infamy) by summers end. I appreciate the emails of support and will get End Game out soon!
