Route of Project Seven Alpha’s flight: Guadalupe Peak

Guadalupe_Nima2

In the first historical novel of my WWII Trilogy, Project Seven Alpha. I not only wanted to put my readers in the cockpit during combat, I also wanted to show the duality of flight during war. Incredible visual sights roll at an aviator whether in combat or peace. I have tried to share the sights I’ve seen in this novel. 7A’s route is also about a progression; as the group of characters fly closer to war. From the beautiful wonders of nature in America to those in the Assam Valley of India; punctuated by the flames of war.

Here is Guadalupe Peak; the first major land mark on the route of Project 7 Alpha.

American Airlines has further ties to Guadalupe; in 1958 they placed a pyramid at its highest point to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Butterfield Overland stage coach route.
